The health benefits of acupuncture

Acupuncture is an excellent method to maintain a good health and to prevent illness. It`s suitable for all ages whereas children usually prefer massage or cupping. Acupuncture is used for pain relief, to treat muscular disorders and to sooth the mind from stress. It`s also used for hormonal imbalance and to treat infertility and menopause related symptoms.

In addition to the acupuncture I also offer natural cosmetic treatments that relax the muscles in the face and head. Treating those areas have a significant influence on the wellbeing.

My services that you can book from the booking calendar are acupuncture, reflexology, cupping, and Tuina massage. Cosmetic treatments are facial guasha and cosmetic acupuncture. More detailed descriptions are in my price list.

I treat each person individually and holistically. The treatment is based on the symptoms and the constitution which are mapped in the interview during the initial treatment. I also like to give some guidange about nutrition because food plays a great role in maintaining health.

Jinshen stands for conciousness and vitality. Jing is the essence of the kidneys which includes the dna, and Shen stands for the conciousness residing in the heart. The heart belongs to the fire element, and the kidneys to the water element. Together they create the essential fire-water axis of the body. The joy and warmth of the heart combined with the ancient wisdom of water form a foundation that carries the human being throughout their life.

Acupuncture is not painful. The needles are thin and go through the skin easily. Light sensations such as pressure is very common. I only use one time needles in order to achieve the best level of hygiene.
